¹⁶ but whenever a person turns^(A) to the Lord, the veil is removed.^{(B) 17} Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. ¹⁸ We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at^[a](C) the glory of the Lord^(D) and are being transformed^(E) into the same image^(F) from glory to glory;^[b] this is from the Lord who is the Spirit.^[c]
